My Vodafone

 

In an longstanding partnership, me and my buddies at Triple do Vodafone’s mobile strategy and design, and help them become a more service oriented company. A bold and playful redesign of the self-care app helped differentiate from competitors and shift toward more customer-centric thinking. Adding chatbot functionality in 2015, before the big chatbot hype, helped make self-service easier and more personal for users. Conversion on in-app plan upgrades increased threefold, and strain on callcenters was reduced.

We continue to work with Vodafone to find new ways of offering value to users in a world where telecom is becoming a commodity. This includes strategy for expansion into new markets like IoT and content.

 
 

 

citizenM digital branding & design

 

I currently lead the digital branding and omni-channel design for international hotel chain citizenM. A digital brand guide & design system form the foundation for the design of all touchpoints. A mobile app, website, check-in kiosk, and in-room tablet app are all woven into a frictionless user journeys. We’ll be going live soon so check back in for designs :).

 
 

 

Marktplaats

 

Marktplaats is Holland’s largest second-hand marketplace. Their ambition is to go from being a passive platform, to pro-actively helping users buy and sell. Through design sprints, user tested prototypes, and product strategy, my team and I helped them figure out how to make that happen.  

Seamlessly weaving together the existing interface with conversational UI, we created a buying and selling experience that’s helpful, reassuring and fun. The project helped formulate new brand values, and lay the foundations for Marktplaats’ digital strategy for the coming years.

 
 

 

Videoland by RTL

 

Videoland is Holland’s homegrown video on demand platform. I redesigned their phone and tablet apps, and worked closely with developers to carry implementation through to every detail. The design celebrates Videoland’s content offering with complete focus on imagery and video. Nonchalant gesture-based browsing suits a lean-back experience

 
 

LINDAnieuws & LINDA.tv

 

Holland’s largest woman’s magazine decided it was time to take a leap into the digital with two products:

LINDAnieuws.nl offers a daily selection of showbizz and other news. I led the design of the responsive website.

LINDA.tv is a curated video platform, for which I led design of the mobile apps and responsive website. The stark aesthetic of LINDA magazine was leveraged to offer a clean and simple video snacking experience.
